other outmoded inspection and condition monitoring management
applications, SigPoint NDT is unique in that it uses predictive
intelligence technology. It can track almost any kind of
measurement data.
 Available
as a stand alone client/server application or on a highly cost
effective Web
Enabled subscription
basis, SigPoint NDT is generations ahead of the nearest
competitor.
It
works with most existing data measurement and collection devices
and learns the relationships between monitored components as
successive measurements are taken.
 Proprietary
algorithms embedded within the system offer quick and accurate
predictions based on the aggregation of fewer and fewer real
world measurements.
This
technology is called Signature Point Referencing™ and is
unique to the multi-award winning SigPoint™ range.
Points nominated as Signature
points in SigPoint NDT are monitored at a higher frequency
than the points they control. This provides frequent and
automatic compensation for fluctuations in operating
conditions and derives values on other components that would
otherwise be uneconomical to measure.
SigPoint NDT predicts the time
when a component subject to non-destructive testing (NDT)
(anything from pipes and vessels to conveyor belts etc) will
reach predetermined alarm values, alerting maintenance of its
need for replacement. The next suite of points to be
measured can then be selected using the results of the algorithm
thereby greatly reducing the measurement effort.
Maintenance activities based on
SigPoint NDT predictions result in a significant saving in
time and resources compared to traditional exhaustive manual
methods. SigPoint NDT not only recognizes trends, it continues
to question its own results fine tuning the prediction
algorithm for each point. This produces change-out alerts that
are based on scientific outcome, not personal objectivity.
The application provides a
presentation layer for the data contained in the database, the
database being the brains of the system. The application has
been developed in such a way that no third party product is
required to install, run or maintain it. Data uptake has
been optimised to provide the fastest possible reporting and
response time despite complex computations being involved.
SigPoint NDT is client/server
application that can be installed on a LAN or WAN. It can also
be installed as a fully Web
Enabled application. It is then accessed over the Internet
on a subscription basis.
The Web
Enabled variant alleviates the need for clients to manage
networks, sophisticated databases or equipment. It also offers
the safety of off-site data storage.
