SigPoint Pty Ltd was formed to realise the commercial potential of the technology derived through many years of research and development into industrial condition monitoring (wear and corrosion), maintenance management and data acquisition. Using this
knowledge base, the Company developed Signature
Point Referencing™, a
predictive
intelligence technology.
This patent
pending solution has a multitude of applications across various industry
sectors. Corrosion alone
accounts for an extrapolated expenditure of around US$275 billion in the
USA yearly. SigPoint helps reduce some of these costs. Among other
benefits, it provides material thickness tracking (from wear or
corrosion) without the usual complexities and cost. The Company recently received a government grant to further commercialise its innovative technologies and honoured with an invitation to represent Australia at the Hannover Messe. Recently the company's software was recognised with a prestigious Asia Pacific IT&T Award as well as an International APCITA Award and a WAITTA Award. Based in Australia with a US office opening in the second quarter 2003, SigPoint has a growing list of national and international clients.
